Eligibility Criteria for CRPF Constable Tradesman 2023:-

The eligibility criteria for CRPF Constable Technical and Tradesman recruitment are:

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit:-

• For Constable (Driver): 21-27 years as of 01/08/2023 and born earlier than 02/08/1996 and later than 01/08/2002.
• For Constable (MMV/Cobbler/Carpenter/Tailor/Brass Band/Pipe Band/Bugler/Gardner/Painter/Cook/Water Carrier/Washerman/Barber/SafaiKaramchari/Mason/Plumber/Electrician): 18-23 years as of 01/08/2023. The candidate should not have been born earlier than 02/08/2000 and later than 01/08/2005.
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per official government rules.

Educational Qualification:-

• For Technical trades: The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent with Science as a subject. The candidate should also possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
• For Tradesman trades: The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Physical Standards:-

• Height: For male candidates – 170 cm (162.5 cm for ST candidates), For female candidates – 157 cm (150 cm for ST candidates)
• Chest: For male candidates – Unexpanded: 80 cm; Expanded: Minimum expansion 5 cm, For female candidates – Not Applicable
• Weight: For male and female candidates – Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

CT/ Driver:-

Educational Qualification: The minimum educational requirement for CRPF Constable Recruitment is Matriculation or equivalent from a Board or University recognized by the Central or State Government.

Technical Qualification: The candidate must have a Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License and should pass the driving test during the recruitment process.

Educational Qualification:- 

The candidate should have passed Matriculation or 10th Class from a recognized board or equivalent.

Technical Qualification:- 

The candidate’s technical qualification should have a 2-year Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in (that is a must) Mechanic Motor Vehicle recognized by the State Council for Vocational training or National or any other recognized institution and one year of practical experience in the concerned trade.

Alternatively, the candidate should have a National or State apprenticeship certificate in the Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade of three years duration from a recognized institution and one year of practical experience in the concerned trade.

For all other Tradesmen:-

Educational Qualification:- The candidate should have passed at least 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board or university recognized by the Central or State Government. Ex-Army personnel may also apply with equivalent Army qualifications.

Technical Qualification:- The candidate should have practical knowledge and experience in the respective trade.

(Pioneer Wing) CT (Mason/ Plumber/ Electrician):-

Educational Qualification:- The candidate must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

Technical Qualification:- The candidate should have at least one year of experience in respective trades such as Masonry, Plumbing, or Electrician. Preference will be given to those who hold a certificate of the trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.
